Called the OB first thing this morning and here's the numbers:

Progesterone was NORMAL. She said I don't need a supplement.
13DPO HCG was 379...

They didn't test for anything else. I thought they were going to test for clotting but the doc didn't order it because I've had a healthy pregnancy before.

SO now I'm worried that the Hcg is TOO high. She said it was right where it should be.

Any thoughts? Advice? Ideas? Recipes for breakfast? I really want fried chicken and mashed potatoes.

How many DPO are you?

I think the HCG seems like it's right where it should be. Not too high and definitely not too low. Great to hear your progesterone is normal. Would it hurt you to keep taking them?

Fried chicken sounds so good..yum! I've tried making it before and it was a complete disaster. I should of tried using my deep fryer, but I hate the clean up.

Oh on the front page of JM there's an HCG calculator. Maybe that could help ease any worry?

Beta hCG level chart
hCG levels during pregnancy
(in weeks since last menstrual period)

3 weeks LMP
5 - 50 mIU/ml

4 weeks LMP
5 - 426 mIU/ml

5 weeks LMP 18 - 7,340 mIU/ml
6 weeks LMP 1,080 - 56,500 mIU/ml
7 - 8 weeks LMP 7, 650 - 229,000 mIU/ml
9 - 12 weeks LMP 25,700 - 288,000 mIU/ml
13 - 16 weeks LMP 13,300 - 254,000 mIU/ml
17 - 24 weeks LMP 4,060 - 165,400 mIU/ml
25 - 40 weeks LMP 3,640 - 117,000 mIU/ml
non pregnant 55-200 ng/ml

I think you're in the 4 week range? Looks like your numbers are within normal range.

The calculator wouldn't work unless you had another Beta done.

Pregnancy test are measured in mIu's. some being more sensitive will measure at 10 to 20 mIu's. That is one reason people get really early postive HPT's.
I believe FRER's measure at 25 mIu's.

Oh a right now your mIu is measuring 379 if not higher since your blood was drawn a few days ago.

Yes, I hit 4 weeks in a few days . Sheesh, a long way to go. Hey, thanks for reminding me Renee. While you're at it, why don't you pour lemon juice into a one of my hangnails.

Aaahhh!! I want to go run up & down the hall yelling, "Leia is pregnant!" but my co-workers would think I've gone off the deep end.

If you want fried chicken & mashed potatoes, you should have it!

Well I settled for an egg sandwich with ham and cheese. Fresh eggs of course and the ham was from Easter. I preserve everything. I was teasing Renee, BTW.

Leia it's your sarcastic that i like about you. Lol

I starteed off having a fantastic day, but it's going downhill. Went out our 3rd bay in my garage. This one doesn't have an electric garage door. As i was kicking intherope my toe got smashed underneath. My children learned a few new curse words and I'm sure the neighbors did too. Got home and decided to water. Saturday we realized that our irrigation watering system isn't working, so we are forced to manual move thesprinkler around. I set my phone down while i was adjusting it for max coverage. I end up shifting it different direction and i go back inside. Realize i don't have my phone and i realize that it's most likely getting watered. Sure enough my phone was getting nailed and is now in a bag of rice.
Now i realize typing that all out i've just screwed up your thread...my bad!!

Did you have your fried chicken yet? How are you at making home made gravy?

OH Renee what a day! Honey you need a drink, and I don't mean a drink of water. Have something good for me would you?

I make home made gravy for sure! I have beef, venison and chicken stock frozen in one cup servings. I thaw them in the pain with onions, garlic, parsley (fresh cut) and chives (also fresh cut). I reduce that and then add a roux and butter, more spices depending on what it's going on.

If i could handle my alcohol, right about now i sould be drinking. I also haveto go and pick up the boys from camp.
I did also manage to flood the area I was watering.

Oh Renee, I would love it if we were neighbors. But as it is, you're neighbors with my dear cousin. She lives in North Seattle.
