HI everyone,

I've had 2 miscarriages and I also have high blood pressure. I had it in the past and got it under control but when I found out I was pregnant with my first I found out my blood pressure was extremely high. Also been diagnosed wtih sleep apnea since then too.

My question is do any of you ladies have high blood pressure and if so what type of medication are you taking? It seems there are only 1 or 2 that are considered safe. One makes me feel extreme fatigue and exhausted. I do mean extreme, so I can't function on them and the other I was one causes me to retain such fluid in my feet in is ridiculous....One of the side effects

Anyone?

High blood pressure is very critical during pregnancy. My sister was suffered with it during her pregnancy. Due to high BP, doctors went for c-section before time. Blood pressure is not safe both for mom and child. If you don't want to use medicine for it then you should be careful about your health. You shouldn't take any stress. Relax yourself. Alcoholic drinks also increase BP. I have never high BP but it is very common in my family. One important thing, use low quantity of salt in your food. Exercise will also help you to minimise it. Caffeine is also cause of high BP. The best way is to monitor your BP at home regular. I hope you will find it helpful.
