We are going to learn how to make an image appear to be outside of your blinkie box.
Start with your normal blinkie template:
Next, I am going to just use a custom shape, but you can use any image you want.
Draw your custom shape, it is okay if you draw it bigger than your blinkie box.
Now, go to IMAGE > CANVAS SIZE. Change to pixels. I am going to change mine to 160 x 40.
Notice it doesn't encompass the entire image, but it will if you move it around. So, in your layers pallet, highlight/lock all your layers together and select your move tool. Move image to a spot where it will all fit into the box. You may have to adjust your canvas size again if it doesn't quite fit. Now, just proceed on. You can do this with text as well.
