Well, I am back in action! I decided to go with what worked before, and my TTC journal in the TTC 1 year plus forum was a big help for me.
I was reading through it yesterday, it seems like to long ago! But I read my weight on there and realized I was 317 pounds back then. Now I am already down to 293, WOOT. Already ahead of the game.
I am off to a tattoo party today in Genevive's honor! Everyone is getting a memorial tattoo for my baby. It's my reward for getting the headstone installed.
Other than that I am following my exchange diet closely, my sugars this morning were 123, a lot better but still not where I want them to be. I had an appt with the diabetic nurse yesterday and we analyzed my log. She said I only had 1100 calories for the day before, and so I am starving myself and that is why my sugars are high. I need to stop skipping snacks and keep my calories up, so my body will stop releasing sugars and ketones into my system. Believe it or not, if you want low sugars you need to eat. I will do better.
Tomorrow or maybe Thursday I am gonna start temping and charting again. Figure if I do it now I can get back into a groove before the new cycle starts. Though after really thinking about it, I am gonna just chart this cycle, and start the clomid next cycle (a month and a half) just to give myself the extra time to get the sugars perfect. One month won't kill me (or maybe it will) and the lower the sugars the better for my future baby.
So Lillian stole my BBT thermometer. What a little rat. I had to tear my room apart looking for it, because AF started yesterday and I wanted a proper chart for this cycle, just to have it to compare when we do clomid next cycle.
I did finally find the thermometer and I taped the case to my nightstand, LMAO. It reminds me of how the thermometers were taped to the isolettes in the NICU. But it works great.
My sugars have been a lot better, between 120 and 150s, fasting was 108 this morning. Almost where I want to be. Sigh, its a lot of work.
