Read up to Page 21.

Complete the exercise on p20-21. It's probably best to use a non-moving subject until you are confident with your exposure.

Make sure that you have your camera in manual mode, so that YOU are making the creative decisions, not the camera.

For each of the ISO settings on your camera, take a picture of the same scene. Each time you change the ISO, leave the aperture the same and alter the shutter speed until the needle is in the middle of the exposure meter.

Post your examples. Please note that settings should always be posted with any image that you want critiqued.

To find out your settings if you're not sure, open the image in Photoshop. Go to File > File Info > Camera data 1. You need to post your shutter speed, f stop and ISO speed.

E.g. SS 1/125, f2.8, ISO 200.

NB: Please post SOOC images (just cropped and resized/sharpened)

Are we only posting the shots where the meter is in the middle, or are we posting all the shots we took? Sorry if its a silly question.

One shot at each ISO, taken with the exposure meter set right in the middle.

If your camera has a ton of ISO settings, it's probably better to limit what you post to e.g. 100, 200, 400, 800, 1600.

The assignments will remain up and running so you'll always be able to catch up afterwards

This is all I've got now.
Im so confused. When I was taking the pics I coulda sworn that I had the ISO going 100, 200, 300, 400, and so on, but this is what I got. Huh? I'm confused. What'd I do wrong?
In the meantime, I'll keep working on it.
