This is an easy tutorial that adds sparkle to the eyes and lips

We're going to take this picture

and make the eyes and lips sparkle

With your picture open, select the lasso tool. You want the set the feather setting to about 6 px and make sure the anti-aliased box is checked. Circle the left eye, hold the shift key down and cirlce the right eye and then the mouth.

Make a new layer with the new selection by pressing ctrl and J keys. In the filter menu select, "sharpen" and the "unsharp mask."

Here you can play with settings you like. I tend to start with: Amount- 100% Radius-2 and Threshold-0

After that just merge your layers (ctrl shift E) and there you have it
Eyes that sparkle.

Ok, I'm using Photo Shop 7 and when I lasso the eyes and lips and then try to hit ctrl J it says it cannot make a new layer because the area is empty????? Any help? I'm so new to this program!

I happily Breastfed Alba for 5 1/2 months!!!!

Below is my weightloss ticker. This is not for the pregnancy weight to come off as it has pretty much all came off. The rest of it is just what I've been wanting to loose for a while now to get back to my healthier weight!
