I am pleased to announced that my HSG was.....

NORMAL!!!

Omg, I was so nervous. But my doc was great, she explained everything before she did the procedure. She must have had some sort of student with her because she was telling this other woman/explaining as she did everything. "See the cervix? It looks like a little doughnut". Err, yes, everyone gather round and gaze in awe at the wonder that is my cervix!

It really didn't even hurt. I don't know if that is due to the tylenol I took or what, but all I felt was pressure/uncomfyness and only a little more than a regular pap. I didn't even feel it when they put the dye in.

I watched the screen and watched the dye go in and at first I was nervous because I could clearly see one tube but not the other, but my doc pointed out the other, cause I guess it was in a different plane sort of, since your view isn't 3D. Also my uterus is tilted left, just like she said during my ultrasound, but she said it doesn't really mean anything and it doesn't change what we should be doing. She said sometimes endo can cause adhesions that pull your uterus one way or the other but a lot of the time it's just that way for no reason.

I also asked her what she thought about a post coital exam and she gave a big thumbs down. She said RE's used to do them a lot but they're hard to time and the results aren't always meaningful so she doesn't do them.

So it all looks good! My tubes are free, clear, open, ready for an egg to drop into them.

I'm still sort of afraid of getting my hopes up...but on the other hand my logical side is saying...Duh woman! You got pregnant before and every single test you have done on you and Dh has come back normal! You are sooo going to get pregnant if you just keep trying, even if it takes a little more help.

I'm taking Clomid this cycle in hopes it will give me more/better eggs.

For sure lots of BDing too although I think I'm going to O a bit later this cycle.

Yay for BDing! lol.

Well then I'm rooting for lots of eggies. I know the ultimate goal is one healthy baby screaming on your belly, but wouldn't twins be cool

Shh...Ashley...I'm almost starting to secretly want twins.

I think I like the idea of it better than I'd like the reality though.
