Hi Ladies,

Long time no speak!!! I know I've been MIA (again). I go through spurts when I feel like sharing and others when I feel like pushing it all to the back of my mind...kwim?

Well - we did the IVF class. DH got much better about the testing that has to be done (bloods, another SA). This was my protocol, started 21 days after lmp:

8/9 - Lupron 20 units
8/14 - AF showed
8/18 - first u/s, looked good
8/21 - 175 units follistim 2x daily, dropped to 5 units Lupron, 40 mg Lovenox (for clotting issue)
8/25 - started daily monitoring
8/28 - dropped to 150 units follistim, rest of protocol the same
8/30 - stopped Lovenox
8/31 - trigger shot
9/2 - ER, 10 retreived, didn't want to overstimulate me b/c of clotting issue
9/5 - transfered 2 embies
Today - Four days past embryo transfer. I'm doing progesterone suppositories 3x daily. The hardest part was the week + of stimulation and the egg retrieval was painful because of my fibroids. But generally, it wasn't terrible. I pray that my embies stick (secretly hoping for twins though DH will probably pass out) and we get a double dose of baby in May 2009.

I actually feel things happening - it could just be my imagination but I'm starting to feel a bit crampy and its way too early for AF. I felt a shooting pain in my right boob today. I go for my blood pregnancy test on 9/19. Those that know my history are aware that getting pg is usually not an issue for me. We didn't get ICSI or PGD, but picked the best ones. Out of the 10 retrieved, 7 fertilized and 2 were grade A on day 3. Please pray for me, DH and our maybebabies. I will keep you posted.

What a great update, Nicole! I'll definitely keep you in my prayers. Try to relax and not overanalyze (though I know that can be impossible at times). We'll be waiting for your update next week. Until then, we're here to help with any anxieties, etc., as we know this isn't an easy time. Hang in there and pray lots!

Thanks ladies. I am trying really hard not to overanalyze - but it is soooo my personality to do just that.
But - I feel like I'm in a really good place. Work is distracting me so I think next week will fly by just as quickly as this week did.

LOL. Surprisingly no. I even have a digital from earlier this year just sitting in my bathroom cabinet. I've been drinking a ton of water today so it wouldn't be wise to test. Maybe tomorrow with FMU, but I think I can wait until Friday. The bloods are done early (between 7 and 7:30 am) and they will call me before noon with the results.
