Now that the time to ttc has come, I find myself backing out. I'll get in the mood, and then think about being pregnant and all of sudden I no longer want to BD.

I know it's because of the underlying fear. If we conceive this month, it'll be our third October conception in a row. I'm just not sure if I can do this again. Yet, I really want to be able to hold my own child in my arms.

How do I get over this? How do I get passed the fear and back in the mood?

Dunno sweetie but I just wanted to send some HUGS your way.

Don't think about it. Don't worry about TTC just be with your new husband and love every single second of it! I know that's easier said than done... you could always use condoms until the end of your cycle!

(((HUGS))) I felt this way when we offically started TTC and not just NTNP a couple of months ago. TTC is really hard when you are as jaded as we are.

How do you get over the fear? I don't think you do. It is always in the back of my mind. But now I just tell it to shut up Seriously!

But Ashley is right. Just enjoy your new DH. Love the time you have together. Maybe even NTNP for this month and start off new with November. This 1st cycle of TTC is the hardest but if you make it to cycle #2 (hopefully you will just get a beautiful BFP and not have to) it gets easier.

Thanks ladies. I think (even if subconsciously) DH is feeling the same way. He won't talk to me about it (and denies it if I ask) but all of a sudden even when I get past it and want to bd he's not in the mood.

Since you are going to get testing soon let that be your priority. Find out what is going on and how to remedy it to give your baby the best start possible. Who know...maybe it could something simple.

We lost our 1st b/c I have low progesterone. Even though the loss was very hard I was glad that we found the issue right away. I went on to have my DD by taking just one little pill a day for the 1st 13 weeks. (My other 2 losses had nothing to do with my progresterone....they were just really bad luck!)
