Apparently, I got the wrong impression the day of my HSG. He is not willing to give Femara. While it's disappointing, I have to say, I'm ok with the plan we have in place.

I call on CD 1 and he'll tell me when to start Clomid. (He bases it on how your cycle will fall so that you can come in for monitoring on a day that works best for everyone.) While taking Clomid, I'll also be doing Mucinex three times a day. I will continue the Mucinex until I go in for the U/S (which will be one week after I finish Clomid). The ultrasound will look at my follicles and lining. This month we'll also be doing a post-coital test. After all of that, if everything looks good, we will trigger. He feels that we can do 5 cycles this way if need be.

Sounds great, I'm glad you having something in place now! Why did he not want to do the femera?

Please KUP on how it's all going! That's so exciting!

He stopped prescribing Femara when the FDA issued the "black box warning" even though he doesn't agree with the warning. (Neither do I.)
