I really think this is our rainbow baby!

After 6 losses I really didn't think this was going to happen at all. I switched doctors and this doc. actually took me serious. I took one round of Clomid, started progesterone at 3 dpo, Started Lovenox at 6w3d. Now, here at 10W4D and I've felt the baby move already! My first u/s was at 6w3d, and there was only an empty sac, so I thought I was going to miscarry, went back at 7w2d and there was a strong heartbeat! I went to the peri. at 9w4d and saw the heartbeat again! A strong hb of 180!!! I am still kinda in shock, waiting for something bad to happen. But, I've had no spotting and besides the first u/s that didn't show a heartbeat its been smooth sailing! DH and I were just talking about how wierd it is...we've been trying for 18 months, had all the miscarriages and it just happens, suddenly, and easily this time.

So ladies, don't give up hope! We were...we had even had a meeting set up with an adoption agency, we were ready to move on.

Can I ask what type of dr you ended up seeing that took you seriously? I am having that issue right now. This is my 4th m/c & I've been told by 4 drs that I just "have bad luck".

I think I will stalk you for a bit if you don't mind, I'm going to think of your pregnancy as a ray of hope that it will happen for me too!

Good Luck, I hope the rest of your pregnancy is a happy & healthy one!

Thanks

I just switched doctors and the new OB took me seriously. I told her right off the bat I was not okay with just waiting around to see what would happen, I wanted a more aggressive treatment and right away she started talking about clomid, IUI's and IVF. I think starting the progesterone at 3 dpo really did the trick, even though the doc told me not to talk it until after I got a bfp. I took it apon myself to start at 3dpo, as I researched online that was a good time to start.

Good luck, and I hope you get your rainbow baby soon!
