I have been seeing the same OBGYN for about 2 years, in the last 9 months I have had 3 miscarriages. This week she told me that even though the clinics website states OBGYN an Infertility Specialist she actually only does the basics and at this point she is at a loss with me. I just made an appointment with a RE in two weeks. I am hoping for the best....I know many of you have seen RE's so can you tell me if there really is a difference between them and an OBGYN? Have you had better results with an RE?

I have just a little bit more confidence in my RE. RPL and infertility are special areas she has studied and researched.

Altho I LOVE LOVE LOVE my OB, she doesn't specialize some of the things my RE does.

I hope the RE can give you some answers. KUP

Yea, my RE seemed more knowledgeable. The first thing he did was order tests the OB had missed.

I did NOT have better luck seeing an RE. I saw 2 drs in the infertility dept & both told me that I just have bad luck. I asked to be referred to an RE & she told me I just have bad luck. She didn't do any testing on me, nothing but look at my chart!
