We graduated from the RE! We had our 8w u/s today and it was beautiful! Our little peanut is growing strong and still has a beautiful heartbeat! I think he looks like a little teddy bear...with just little arm and leg buds. So cute! We are measuring 8 weeks and 4 days...one day ahead of schedule! Dr. says everything looks perfect and we have been released back to my regular OB. It hasn't really sunk in yet that this is for real. I have never made it past an 8 week ultrasound and I had never seen a heartbeat before this pregnancy. This is really going to be the one!!! I can't believe it. I am still going to be a nervous wreck (obviously) until I am holding my healthy, breathing, crying baby in my arms in August but for now I can start to let it sink in that it is really going to happen this time! I love this little person so much already. DH was cute because after the ultrasound I asked if he had seen the heartbeat right away and he said "Yeah, it was easy this time because I knew what I was looking at. It looked like an actual person instead of a little blob!" Our baby is growing so fast! It looks about three times as big as it was two weeks ago. Keep growing little peanut!!!

I'm so happy for you right now. When I rushed out of my post to read the updated I shouted out "yes" at the title of your post! LOL. My coworkers think I'm retarded.. but that's nothing new.

Augie will flip when she sees this!

Wow! I can't believe what a difference two weeks has made!He/she is so much bigger!

That is such great news that everything is progressing smoothly and you get are moving back to your regular OB! Have you made your first appointment yet? I wonder when your next sonogram will be. I hope you don't have to wait to 20 weeks! I'm only a couple days behind you so I'm kinda asking to know for myself too

I am not sure about scans. I think they will let me know the appointment schedule at my first appt. At this point I am ok with not having one until the gender scan because we should be able to hear the HB on a doppler. My first OB appt is next Monday and I will be 10 weeks. Should we be able to hear it on a doppler then???

I just love seeing those sono pics of beautiful little babies. There's just something about them when they're that tiny and you know that it's actually happening, there's actually a little life inside of you. Isn't it just grand?
