We had our third sono today. This was the first one we had back at my regular OB. Everything looked great. The sono tech was awesome and let us watch the baby on the screen for a while. S/he was so cute - squirming all around and stretching his/her legs. It was really amazing. That was the first time we've ever seen one of the babies move. I am also measuring 3 days ahead - yay! I am 10w5d today and the baby was measuring 11w1d. And a very strong heartbeat - 178 bpm. So exciting! They also checked my uterus and poked around and said everything looked really really good. I am so happy for a good appointment! Today is also the due date of our fourth baby so it was really scary going into today's appointment. I was so worried something was going to go wrong.

They seemed very accommodating and said I should come in any time I'm worried and are also going to let me have additional sonograms, which I'm glad about. I told the nurse what happened with our third (announced, sono 4 days later showed we m/c) and she said she would try to come up with medical reasons that we could have more sono's, so insurance would pay for it. Even better. I scheduled our next sono appointment in 4 weeks, which is around the time I think we will announce.

Hooray!

I'm glad all went well and that they are allowing extra ultrasounds. It sounds like you have a great doctor.
