It has come to that time in my pregnancy....I am officially on bedrest. Cervix shortened .9cm in two weeks time. Contractions are here....

So...I am now on the 17p shots every week, taking procardia every 6 hrs, and see the dr every week for a cervical length check. My cervical length was 2.4cm last week and if it shortens much more I will be in the hospital until I deliver or 34w, whichever comes first.

Please pray that I can do this at home. I do not want to be away from my DD for 9-10w. I am not sure how I would handle it.

I am sorry you have to stay in bed so early. Stay relaxed...as much as possible...and let everyone else take care of you. Good luck and keep us posted!

I'm so sorry sweetie. I hope you see some improvement when you get checked again, and if no improvement, I hope at least things stay the same!

Thanks Ladies!!!

I see my regular OB today for just a regular checkup. Fun, huh? Probably nothing exciting going on today at the appt, just getting to hear baby's hb and doing a general check-up.

See the MFM on Thursday. DH and I have decided that I am going to pack my hosp bag and take it with us. Just to be on the safe side. Hopefully I will not need it and can come home and unpack, but I would rather be prepared.

I will keep you all updated.

Had another appt on Thursday last week. Good news....My cervical length has not changed!!! So...I get to be at home another week. Contrax have gone from 20-30/day to 3-5/day!! The increase in meds has really helped!!!

Thanks for the thoughts and prayers!!! I will update you all again after Friday when I see the dr again.
