BOY!

We had a sono this week at 14w6d and there it was! You could see it right away! I'm so excited we got to find out early . The doctor's appointment went great and he is measuring right on track. The doctor said we could end up being one of those boring patients he sees. How great would that be!

We decided to start announcing. We are leaving it to our parents to tell the extended families and we are going to tell our friends as we see them. No big events to make the announcement. We did that once before and then m/c, so we didn't want to do it again.

I am feeling better. After my maternity shopping breakdown I bought a fetal doppler and we are able to listen to the heartbeat more often, which has definitely helped. I am still a little nervous, but this last appointment (and moving out of the first trimester) has really made me feel better. So much so that I finally added the pregnancy ticker into my siggy!

YAY for a little boy!! I am jealous! Unless I get a surprise u/s today I won't be finding out until 20w. That doppler will come in handy the next few weeks. This is the point I am actually a little more anxious because I feel better now that the first tri is over but not feeling movement (or not enough to be reassuring) or not showing is nerve wracking! I am sure that doppler will get plenty of use and make you feel more at ease!
