Hello Ladies, my name is Breanna. I posted a long time ago under another screen name that I forgot as well as the email address I signed up with. Leave it to me. lol I have 2 girls 10 and 2. I had 3 mc before my 2 year old was conceived and 1 a year after she was born. Here I am pregnant again ( I think) and couldn't be more scared. I took 4 test and they all came back positive. Was able to get into the doctors today for them to draw blood and do a u/s. The u/s showed nothing. My doc has said either 1. Its a chemical pregnany...which I thought you didn't normally get pregnany symptom obviousy wrong. 2. blighted ovum which again he saw nothing or 3. it's a really early pregnancy. I have to go back wednesday for more blood and next week Tuesday for another u/s. I just don't know what to do or how to feel. I hate not knowing.

Sorry if this was the wrong place to post this, I just knew it didn't belong in the DDC area.

If you just missed your period, than there wouldn't show anything on an ultrasound yet. If the doctor is diagnosing miscarriage or blighted ovum this early perhaps you should consider a new dr. When was AF due?

Ditto. If you are less than 5 or 6 weeks there won't be anything to see anyway. Did you see a sac? I don't know why he would say BO if there wasn't a visible sac yet. I did have a BO and you could obviously see the sac. Good luck and I hope it is just too early. Keep us posted.

Well welcome back...sorry it's under such a stressful circumstance. I agree with the others - this would be so early I can't possibly see how he expected to see anything anyway... For now try to relax and just roll with it, no amount of worry or stressing will change anything....so you will be better off for not letting yourself go that way if possible. It IS early & there is so much yet unknown....try to have faith, take a deep breath & relax - at least until you have something a lottle more substantial to go with.

huge hugs & again welcome back!

HUGS sweetie. I'd give it a little while longer and then try for a 2nd u/s. It seems like it's possibly too early to see anything at all on the screen, even a sac. Everything takes time to show up, and some doctors just jump the gun too much to get it all right.

I agree with the others. How far along do you think you are? Have you gotten the results from your beta back yet? Regardless of your history, it seems like your doctor is rushing to judgment, and is causing you greater worry. I know the waiting sucks, but all you can do for now is take it one day at at time and try to relax until you definitely know something.

Thank you ladies....I'm really hoping that's what it is. I have very irregular cycles so I really don't even know how far along I'd be. Which is the part of the reason they had me come in for an u/s yesterday. I am waiting on the office to call me back about my beta and progesterone levels from yesterday. I have an appt tomorrow for the retest of the levels and the u/s on Tuesday. This was my first time at this doc and after next weeks u/s I will most likely not be going back to him. The BO didn't make sense to me because my last m/c was a BO. But this is a new doc.

Edited to add: I got a call back from my docs office (the girls in there are awesome). They didn't give me my beta results, said I would get them all when they had something to compare them to. But, my progesterone is low so she called in a rx for Promethium and said I will have to take it until I am 12 weeks.

Welcome back. Sorry it's taking me so long to respond. (I was on my honeymoon.) It sounds as if you've spoken with your doctor since the original post. When do you go back in?
