The u/s revealed another blighted ovum that stopped growing at 6 weeks. The Dr suggested a D&C so they can do genetic testing again. I asked if the D&C can be done by my Ob in the town I live in so I don't have to travel. I will call them tomorrow to set it up. This really sucks. I was really hoping that this time would be it but it's been another disappointment.

I am so sorry! I would give it a couple more weeks, you'd be surprised how unreliable early ultrasounds can be! I was told with my first 2 ultrasounds that I had a blighted ovum, now I am 15 weeks pregnant with a healthy baby...

Genetic testing can't be done on a blighted ovum....

Oh, I'm so sorry to hear this. I agree with Erica, I'd definitely give it another week and ask for another u/s just to be on the safe side. Big hugs sweetie.

Thanks for the support ladies.

Erica - Im not sure who told you that genetic test can't be done on blighted ovums because I know it can. My twin pregnancy was two blighted ovums and we did genetic testing on them. They were boys so I know it wasn't my genes they were testing.
