It has gone by SOOOO fast! I can't believe that I am in double digits today. As far as how I am feeling, my doctor is going to see if I have hyperemesis. I have lost over 10 pounds. I am nauseated 24-7 even after taking Zofran. I can't drink water and I know I am getting dehydrated. It is getting harder and harder to enjoy pregnancy.

Oh no! I am so sorry, I get hyperemesis everytime. It is awful. I don't know how your doc is about meds, but my doc found out from a preggers OB who was so ill like me that taking a unisom (blue caplet, not the gel caps) and a B6 at night and taking a B6 in the am was the magic thing to do. It took a couple days and I ended up going to bed at like 8 pm, but oh not to throw up was the greatest next to holding my baby! The unisom is basically doxylamine which brings on sleepiness but also calms whatever triggers the hyperemesis. Before we started this combo I had been in the hospital 3 times overnight for dehydration by the time I was 9 weeks pregnant with DS1. I hope you get it tackled soon.

I am going to try that. We are desperate for something to work. I have the B-6 and I am going to buy the unisom.

Take the smallest sip of water possible to swallow it, it's a tiny pill. Until it was in my system I was afraid of vomitting it up so I barely swallowed it with liquid! Remember it's the blue caplets not the gel caps! I promise it will help!!

I blame pregnancy brain for forgetting to answer that question too. They didn't believe us at first honestly. With DH getting his PhD this summer and us moving they thought we would have waited until after he was done. But, after the initial shock wore off they were excited. It is their first grand baby. They were talking about her pregnancy, trying to give me advice on what to eat (like that is going to help!) and were overall supportive. I have no doubt that they will still keep the distance I need, but his mom is going to spoil me rotten! She told me to tell her any food baby can take and she will make sure I have a well supplied stock of it. She spoils through food. She also is a seamstress so when I ask for clothes she will make them for me too. His dad (who I have a terrible relationship with) is happy but still not willing to talk to me much and that is more than fine with me.
