I had my 2nd OB appointment yesterday...For about a week I prepared myself for a missed miscarriage, but the ultrasound showed a healthy baby with a heartbeat! Everything seems to be going well, and i'm sure that wont be the last time i'm convinced the baby is dead...I think I might my whole pregnancy (or at least till I can feel baby move all the time)...I'm on lovenox, and it's painful, and i'm covered in bruises, but well worth it...Going to seattle next week for my NT scan and testing on my heart....i'll update after my appointment then

Yay for a great appointment. I was freaking out right before my last appointment thinking about a missed miscarriage too. I think it is "normal" for those of us that have had losses. It never ceases to amaze me when I see the tiny beating heart. Good luck in Seattle!

That's great news! I'm so glad the appointment went well. KUP for when you go into Seattle. Btw, I love Seattle, it's such a beautiful city.

Miscarriage at 17 weeks - December 7, 2011 (My sweet little Joshua had Achondrogenesis type 2)
All test results normal. Reason for RPL unknown.

Yay for heartbeats!! I am a spastic freak the whole time I a pregnant, it's why I love my OB, she tolerates me so well!

Thanks ladies! My OB was really nice about it and told me I can come in whenever I want...I think i'm going to do every 2 week appointments...I think that's about all I can take mentaly...2 of my losses were in the 2nd trimester, I had no symptoms (cramping, bleeding etc) so I think that's why i'm freaked out....I'll feel much better being seen every other week.

Megan I don't blame you for feeling that way. Mine were the same. No sign anything was wrong. I went in 2x a week to get heartbeat checks because I couldn't help but freak out. Even went in this week for a check. But for me I am into a safer area and while technically anything can happen I know that we are in a good place to make it this time. I am glad your dr will see you anytime that is great. So happy for you sweetie.
