I know it is a little early. I am 37+4 today, but I have so much pre labor I can hardly sleep. I feel like I am going to be exhausted and tired for weeks before this baby gets here. She is completely engaged in my pelvis (smart little girl!). I am just getting really, really nervous about a cord accident or something that doesn't happen a lot, but does happen. At least she is smart to kick me enough to keep me sane.

I am not complaining, I just want to have a good birth experience with her. I am still happy and enjoying as much of this pregnancy as I can. But, I would love to meet this little girl!

Marsi it's time to come on out, and be easy on your mommy in that process! Are you aiming for a NCB?

Well, 39 weeks today and feeling pretty good. I would love to snuggle her on the outside, but at the same time I am enjoying her. I feel bipolar most of the time because I want her out so bad, but I love it just being us together.

That's so sweet! Are you just hanging out until you deliver or will they induce? (I'm not sure of your exact history) Are you having any weekly testing done or anything like that? You're kind of making me feel like I have to give an update too! LOL!

Since I plan on birthing at a freestanding birth center with a midwife we are just hanging out until labor starts. I go for my weekly visits but other than feeling baby through the belly, measurements and doppler, no other testing is done. They won't induce for another 3 weeks. Pretty dull, but so darn close!

Awwww! Pumpkin!! <3

My 3 living children were all born in August The girls (younger two) always have combined parties LOL! The older one doesn't like that so much.

I'm sending you labor vibes, but selfishly holding back some since I'm hoping this uterine activity I have going on here tonight means something!

Meagan, don't we share the same birthday (11/21)? It is an ugly birthstone!! October is purple...I only know that because of my brothers' birthday. The twins would LOVE for me to have Marsi on their birthday (10/29). I would cry. I am still in the contracting but not progressing stage...

October's true stone is a blue tinted white stone. Opals tend to have a blue, green and pink sheen, but are so fragile most people don't buy them.

Seriously with an opal ring the instructions read "Do not: get it wet. rub the stone. get it hot. get it cold. tap it against a hard surface. scratch the stone." ... yup... not sure I want a ring that I have to wrap in bubblewrap to wear!

The other traditional gemstone is a peridot, which is green. But that's the zodiac stone for a Libra.

More modernly you can get Opals, pink tourmaline and rose zicron/quartz's for October.

Februrary's stone is purple (the amethyst)

I got lucky one of my favorite colors was pink, I have an assortment of jewelry with pink stones cause of my middle of Oct birthday. LOL.

But I agree, November's stone is not a purdy one!

eta: now I want opal earrings for my wedding. I blame you!!!!!! *runs to overstock.com*
