So, in less than an hour I go to my 39/40 week midwife appointment. I am going to ask what their opinion is about caster oil. I won't take it before my due date, but I am starting to consider it. The whole my body getting ready and then stopping days on end is exhausting. So, hopefully I will have a baby before the beginning of next week...depending on the advice of my midwife.

yeah how'd it go?

Castor will be my LAST option. I will precede it with lots of sex and nipple stimulation, both of which can put you into labor.

Honestly, not too well. My first BP reading was 150/100. Obviously not a good reading. I relaxed a little while and got it to 140/90 but that was the lowest I got. She stripped my membranes in hopes that I go into labor. It has been 6 hours and nothing. They would like me to take caster oil on my due date. So, if I haven't gone into labor by Sunday, I will be doing that. At least we know now it truly is time for her to come on out!

ETA: I have done nipple stimulation and sex and pineapple and lots of other things before this as well.

Come on little girlie.. Get outta your momma!

She's a stubborn one Rachel... if she keeps that up through life you'll have your hands full.
