So I never update, my life is so boring. I had an 8 week U/S and baby had a heartbeat. My next appointment is Aug 14th and I should hear baby's heartbeat! i like to give baby extra time for the U/S so we are not in the "waiting for a heartbeat" phase around 4 to 7 weeks. Same with the first heart beat I am a chubby but adn baby has to be hear through a bit of mommy so best to not leave it to chance of being too early.

Other than that as our third Rainbow baby with all three losses diagnoses as "bad luck senarios" we are not to stressed over baby. But i did have a small SCH that i saw no blood from. Other wise I'd be freaking. i have never had even pink streaks without the pregnancy terminating so a SCH bleeding would have really done me in.

My update is that I'm 28w5d pregnant and everything seems to be going well with the baby! I never thought that this would happen for me, I just didn't believe *I* could experience this and I'm so happy!
I have stopped working because my body kept giving me signs it was best (after a few consecutive workdays my stress levels soar and I have too many contractions/really bad pelvic pain).

That's awesome Lex!!!!!!!! I need to go look up how to pronounce the name you've picked because I've seen it a lot, and have no idea how to say it!

The H is silent so it would be pronounced the same as Eloise.... we just chose to go with the traditional French spelling of the name
Now I'm sure we will end up correcting a lot of our English-speaking friends & family at first but I love the traditional spelling and the name has a lot of history.

It is a beautiful name. When I saw it, I knew how to say it and I don't speak a lick of French! Then again, I am married to an Albanian so languages and pronunciation is something that I like.

I had to do a lot of bed rest and whatnot during my pregnancy and was glad that I was a teacher and was done in June with an October due date. I spent most of my 2nd trimester moving my parents from ID to MO but after that, it went to contractions and pressure most of my 3rd trimester. Marsi was born at 9 lbs at 40+1...a nice long baking time!

I love it!!!

I grew up taking french, but I'm pretty sure I forgot 99% of it the minute I graduated.
