OK so far. Bbs are really sore and I can almost watch them grow (which for an almost-B cup girl is kind of exciting) . I'm starving pretty much all the time. By 9:15 this morning I was raiding my lunch box for a snack. And I'm tired all the time.

The only symptom that worries me is that the heartburn/nausea has arrived. I didn't have that with DS but maybe a few times, but had it constantly with the two I lost. I know that once you've had it, you're more likely to get it again, but it still makes me a little nervous. Trying my best to give it all to God, though. That's the only way I'll survive this.

How about you? How are you doing?

ETA: I'm also feeling surprisingly calm, like however the u/s goes on Monday I'll be OK with it. Hard to describe, but it's a good thing.

Kathryn,
If you don't mind my asking, how did you get a u/s scheduled so early? With my last pg, I was totally frustrated by how I was basically told to go home and wait until 10 weeks pg or so before my first appt. Maybe after 2 earlier mcs I'll get in earlier.

Kathryn-please let us know about the u/s on Monday...I will be praying for you.

SRS- you shouldn't have to wait till 10wks for a u/s. At 6 weeks you can see a hb and I have always been scheduled for one early. Now after all my losses the dr's pretty much do what I ask which is kinda nice even though it got this way through a lot of heartache. Next time you are pg, don't accept the "go home and wait till 10wks" as an answer, advocate for yourself honey. Beg, plead, cry, LOL...crying I have found usually works well in the guilt dept with dr's (I'm bad I know but hey it gets me in right???) Best of luck to you.

My doc is very proactive and has u/s machines in every room. It's just kind of standard practice there.

No, not all do. The doc I had with DS was wonderful, but there were 4 docs sharing 1 u/s room. Anything "emergency" had to happen at the hospital. But she moved out of state shortly thereafter. In Canada, the u/s are at separate centers. Everywhere's different. One of the ladies who recommended my current doc told me that he does an u/s at every visit, which I thought was really cool.

I think I probably just need a new doc. I think they have one machine for four docs as well. I'm a bit reluctant to switch, because at least this practice knows my history, but one of my co-workers recommended her doctor, so I might just try that out. I have not been very impressed with my doctor's office to date, just becase they seem like they have too many patients, and every time you call you are put on hold no matter what.
