Your control line will always be a line but when you get an evap test line - Start BD (every other day). On the day you get your OPK + which is CD16 and BD the next night and a few insurance days (every other day).

If you continue your OPK and don't get a evap/similar color on the test line (don't worry) keep on BD every other day (if you have some O pain) it could mean that you already Oved or starting to Oved that why you need insurance day to cover that timing.

But you definietly Oved on CD16 and hope you get some sticky vibes!
