I ovulated on the 28th and my period is due on the 11th. DH and I didn't have sex on my fertile days but we did BD quite a few times during the month. I had been feeling pretty nauseous, tired, and my boobs hurt REALLY bad. I took a test this morning but my test was negative. :'( Did I test too early? It's a 6 day test and my period is due in 6 days, I think I'm 7 days DPO. Is it okay to assume that the test is an actual negative and I didn't just test too early? I am feeling cramping now, I am so discouraged. This is our first month TTC but I'm usually EXTREMELY fertile so its hard not being able to get pregnant right away.

I would say it's way too early!! Some people get a positive at 7dpo but thats pretty rare! I would give it 2 days (if you can wait that long! ) and test again. If its still negative, wait until your period is due and test then... Sounds like you have some pretty promising symptoms!

I'll try to wait until Thursday when I'm off work, that will be 4 days before my period, it would be positive by then I'm assuming? My boobs don't hurt as bad anymore but we'll see. I'm hoping.

Hi, i just thought i would pop in, anyway just thought it would put some minds at ease to let people know that when i went and took a test at the doctors the other day- it came back negative- i was told that it may have been to early to test....to cut a long story short- a positive pregnancy test will not show up until you have missed a period- to all you girls ttc, good luck i wish you all the best
