[size=3]I actually got a little more nervous and excited than I expected, but this one looks positive for an LH surge... this is CD 14 for me... but I have been bothered by how hard it is to tell on the Answer tests... I didn't test at all yesterday and my first test today did nothing (bad test I think)...but then I am thinking, (SORRY, TMI), we had already BD for today and wondered if that could affect the test or if this one might be accurate b/c its the right time according to the "schedule". I took my temp this morning at 97.15 with a basal that I picked up at Walgreens yesterday but I know squat about temp taking yet.

Anyway, here's the picture... you can see its much darker than the other ones have been. CLick on the picture to see a larger version.



And for comparison, here's the first test I did on 1/21/07, to me its like the lines totally switched places.



I am a complete amatuer at this, so I just keep thinking, is it or ????

Yup, that looks like a +!!

I'm using OPKs for the first time, and I'm on CD 13. From the looks of the one this morning I should get a + tonight or tomorrow. I'm excited to see it finally work! I had been using internet cheapies, but I bought a pack of Answer yesterday.

Okay, sorry if this is a strange question, but if you have a + opk, today's is negative... so does that mean ovulation is over or has already taken place at some point since yesterday and today?

How many days after a + OPK do you BD?

I'm a total rookie, but I heard that you typically O 24-36 hours after the surge.

I'm on CD 14 of a 27-28 day cycle, and still no +.....I'm getting kind of freaked out that I'm not Oing. 2 days ago my Answer test got ALMOST as dark as the control, but was much lighter yesterday. What the heck!

When you get a positive, you're in your surge. The surge will last 12-36 hours. So you need to get BDing!
