They're bad because of what Sherri said. The evaps on the cheap HPTs are ridiculous and they look just like positives. They even show up in the time limit, but are suuuuper faint. You can definitely see a line, but you can't tell if it really has color or is grey. We know they're evaps, though, because you can test "positive" on the cheap HPTs a million times and negative on every other test. AF always comes in the end, too.
Overall, I guess they're okay if you get a really strong positive, but if you get a faint line at all, I would just take it as a negative and retest until you see a dark, unmistakable line.
