I wanted to share my false positive.

It's hard to see, I had a hard time taking a good picture. I never have had a false neg with equate but there it is. The first one (hopefully last one). The line was there in under 2 minutes.

I hope this never happens to you guys

It could have been a false positive, but just curious did you take any other tests at the same time with the same urine that you did that one cause 99% of false positives are actually chemical pregnancies. There is JUST enough HCG to give you a positive, but by the next day or so its gone so you get negatives. Either way it sucks!

I did take another test (actually 3) and they said no. I took one of the same brand, the digital kind and then another brand (i don't even remember). They all said no but i thought maybe it was just that early and usually you get false negs, not pos.

I had a blood test done 2 days later.

Yeah it does suck.

Wouldn't you think that's a + ? I mean I'm not stupid right?

I know how you feel hun yours looks just like mine except mine of course was negative but really light like the one you got but the control line was darker then heck!! lol its stressful thats for sure....

I've gotten lots of bad reads from Equates. I actually detected a chemical pregnancy with an HCG of around 7.

They aren't very good.

OMG. My Mom and I both have had false pos equate tests and it ticked us off so bad. rrrrggggg.

That is AWFUL! I would have seen that and been jumping up and down screaming "i'm pregnant!" How terrible. I'm sorry, but thanks for sharing i won't be using equates!

Well this is the first false pos i have ever gotten and I've been through a lot of tests in my 5 TTC years. I inverted the picture too and the line shows too.

that's the first one i ever got with this brand and that's the one i always use. I even used another one from the same batch and it was -. Just real weird.

I hated it growing up because no one had heard of it and rarely spelled it right. Most people don't pronounce it correctly either, lol.
