a lot of the chemicals are okayed for "occasional use" only. But most people shampoo every day, if not multiple times per day (going to the gym, etc.) That's not "occasional" use.

Funny what companies don't tell you about the ingredients in their products, huh?

"Trace elements" are ok.

Um... for like... one time use... but uh yea... we shampoo/condition/soap/lotion/face wash/makeup and all that other crap almost every.single.day. So those "trace elements" are GOING TO ADD UP!

Deplorable isn't it?!?!

I can't imagine washing my hair everyday! My hair would be so unhealthy and my scalp would absolutely freak out on me! LOL I use a few different shampoos and conditioners....depends on which shower in the house I'm in. I use Yes to Cucumbers....LOVE IT! Natures gate organics in the other bathroom. Even with going to they gym 3 days a week, I honestly only wash my hair 2 or 3 times a week. Sounds gross maybe, but my hair has never been healthier!

I only wash my hair every couple of days. I have very dry hair and the more it's washed the worse it gets.

I thought I had commented before but apparently it didn't post. Anyway...the number of chemicals that are NOT safe in our daily lives is just rediculous. And people wonder why our country's health is going down the drain... WAKE UP!!!

Alright...rant over...for now.

Hi,
I try to avoid sodium laurel sulphates, but it's actually very hard!

I actually never use shampoo because I have curly hair and the chemicals in shampoo break down curls. I use conditioner (which still has some nasty chemicals) and the "shampooing action". My hair still gets clean and my curls are bouncier than ever.
