HI Ladies!

I'm Liz. I'm a SAHM of two, and married. Gabrielle is 5 and goes into Grade 1 in the fall and Emily is just starting to walk and is 15 months old.

So heres my issue. Embarrassingly enough as it is, I developed an abcess on my back... aka a skin boil. And it was extremely painful. I went in to seek medical help and ended up having it lanced. This Saturday will be a week since it was lanced and it's STILL draining... While thats fine, I was warned it would take a while to heal. I'm hoping to put my system through a detox. I've been on a strong antibiotic, which my doc said was necessary. So I'd like to start this detox as soon as I'm done the drug.

I grew up in a homeopathic home.. My mom is the natural remedy - Homeopathic type and recommended me a couple of solutions but I wanted to come here for one big reason. She lives in Canada, I don't... LOL and I want more solutions I can find here in the US! She told me about Yarrow and Dandelion Root. However I've had gallbladder issues in the past so I'd like to steer clear of the Dandelion root, and I can't find Yarrow in any of my local health food stores.

Does anyone know of or can recommend any teas that would be good for a detox regimen?

Thanks! Have a great week!

While I've never used the detoxes, I am a huge fan of the Dr. Christopher's company, and I know they have detox programs Dr. Christopher's Herbal Legacy is a great source of info.
