It's on the skin for such a minute amount of time that I don't worry about it. I wouldn't use it in a lotion or cream though.
Now safflower oil - that makes a WONDERFUL soap!! But it's expensive. I don't really like olive oil for soap making, you have to make sure to not use too much or the bars are slimy with a weak lather when wet.
