Kale Chips are nutritious and delicious. I was terrified the first time I made them and by the time I was licking the bowl (yes, I was) I was angry I hadn't made more. I'm not a veggie girl by heart so I was scared to try this incredibly dark green "vegetable". If you do it just right, it's fantabulous and absolutely great for your body.

So, this morning I made (am making, they are in the dehydrator) kale chips (w/ olive oil, garlic, salt and pepper), and I don't have a compost and didn't want to waste the stems so I decided I'd just juice them and start taking a morning shot of kale juice (instead of drinking a full glass w/ other veggies and fruits - I have to cut sugar from my diet for right now). I did put a quarter sized ginger root slice in the juicer as well and it made the perfect amt for a shot. One quick drink and then a chaser of water (as it is strong but doesn't last in your mouth).

I love kale chips! I bake them in the oven, use different seasonings. My favorite has been a lemon thyme flavor.

I wish I had a juicer, its on my to-aquire list I feel like so much goes to waste with produce.

I agree, and you can take all the leftover pulp from juicing and make RAW bread from it

I just made kale chips about half an hour ago, LOL! First time eating kale! I think they are an acquired taste. Next time I'll have to spruce them up a tad.
