Hi! I followed one of Nature Loving Mama's links here.
I thought I'd tell you a little about me... First off, this is probably the last place a lot of people would expect me to be. I'm not crunchy at all, but I try to keep my girls on the healthier side of things. We buy almost nothing pre-made and I try to eliminate chemicals and such from our home as much as is feasible for me... So far it's not too much but I don't know alternative ways to do things.
Personally I don't do vitamins (my daughter is on 2 but I'm even skeptical there) and fruit turns my stomach (the acid is killer on me and makes me feel sick) but we love veggies in this house. I dont know enough ways to make them interesting for the girls, but since my husband and I enjoy them much more then sweets, the girls also seem to enjoy them.
I'm Alycia, Army wife to Chris and mom to Carrie and Katie. Carrie is special needs (I know greenchild from those boards) and Katie is a tornado. We spend most of the week on the road between therapies, outside that I'm FRG leader and going back to school, so the unnatural lifestyle is a lot easier on us. I really want to find ways for fit things that are better for us into our lives but I'm on the go about 60 hours a week with two toddlers in tow. Also I don't drink caffeine of any form, so figuring out how to get energy more natural ways would be awesome.

Drinking green juices in the morning (The Mean Green) and Chia Seeds are an AMAZING superfood that will give you a ton of energy!! You can add these to any food, eat them on their own in a pudding or add them to a morning smoothie
