The as seen on TV Ceramic Green Non-Stick Frying pan? We got these in at my work and I was wondering if it was worth the $20 that they are. If it really works that would be great since you wouldn't need to use any icky fats to help lubricate the pan with when cooking stuff.

I don't have one of these, so I don't know how good they are!

I've seen what looks like enamelware frying pans hitting the market, are those the same thing? I love the look of them, but I like my stainless steel spatulas and spoons. Hate plastic utensils. Wood's okay, but they wear out faster on me. As a proponent of the paleo diet, we use a lot of fats for cooking so that part wouldn't make any difference to me.

I used to love non-stick, but they always crack eventually. Start peeling and just get icky. I prefer stainless steel now, even if it's harder to scrub - just consider it exercise! LOL!

I have Stainless Steel pots and pans but everything sticks to the bottom when I use them. The Non stick stuff I have has lasted me 4+ years but my Pans DF ruined because he doesn't know how to properly use them. I could have killed him. So I wanted something more durable, and when I saw this I thought I might have found our pan but I'm looking for reviews first.

Those are pretty neat looking, definitely not what I've seen in stores here! I bet my DH would love them, he doesn't like my stainless steel pots/pans. he doesn't get a choice since I do 99.9 of the cooking!

Jackie, I'm with you, I LOVE my stainless steel ~ my all time favorites are the old style Reverware copper-bottom skillets they don't make anymore. so I get mine on Ebay, or 2nd hand shops They still make their stainless steel pots though, and I'd like to get a few more of them. I'm on the lookout for a good dutch oven. Walmart has some enamelware ones, but all the ones in stock are chipped already.
