Your body benefits the most from a good routine. If you just eat something once in a while for a certain health benefit you won't actually get results unless you stick to it and make it part of your diet. When I look for a veggie or fruit I like to pick something that offers not only anti-oxidants for anti-aging but the vitamins and hydrating properties that promote good skin and energy.
It's not like we don't all eat something bad or cheat a little in our diets but getting these key fruits and veggies will help make up for it. They also help curb your appetite when you're feeling extra naughty naughty.
