For me, it's just looking at her knowing that she will grow up to be a wonderful young lady one day, and that I get to share in a part of that.

What about you?

For me its knowing when she gets older and becomes a great mom herself and a great person, that I did that. I raised her to be that great lady she will be when she gets older, and I taught her to be that great mom she will be some day!

I think for me it is the kisses and when we make eye contact and she smiles at me....also knowing me and DF made her. But I love EVERYTHING about being a mommy

Right now, the kisses and the cuddles. I love watching her figure out new things. I love being able to teach her to do new things.

The big grin I get whenever she sees me after just waking up. I also am amazed watching the process of learning and developing.

Knowing that right now ( at 8 months) I am his whole world. That just with a hug, I can make things better. That he is SO happy to see me when I get him up in the morning and he reached those little arms up for me to pick him up. Just makes my heart melt.

Ah the joys of mommy hood. I just melt when he's sleeping with me from waking up early morning and he just puts his hand on my face and just smiles like he's saying "morning mommy"

Oh melts my heart and soul!

I think my favorite thing is those smiles that he gives you when you pinch his cheeks and talk to him. I can't wait to watch him grow up and become a boy then a man. He is the most amazing little person and I can't believe how much closer it's brought me to my husband. We already had a great relationship but it just brought us closer in a different way. I know that he loves me even though he can't talk. You can just see it in his eyes that he knows who is mommy is. It is a feeling that you can never explain to anyone that is not a mother until they have one of their own.

When he sponges up new info when I teach it to him.
Seeing bits and pieces of DH and I in him.

When my 'too cool' 12 year old leans his head on my shoulder and plays with my fingers while watching television. I don't think he even knows when he does it.

When my 8 year old looks at me and tells me that she is so happy that everyone says we look alike.

When my 5 year old still cuddles on my lap and sucks her thumb.

When my newborn turns her head in the direction of my voice.

I love just feeling the love around me when they are near. I even love the ache I feel inside when they aren't.

It is the best, most rewarding thing in life for me...My children.
