After visiting Vegas yesterday, now he wants to be a LV Police Officer. Isn't he funny? He changes his mind every 15 minutes about what he wants to do and where he wants to be ... I told him that if we lived in Vegas we are renting/buying a house, and I had to have AC and I was putting my foot down ...

He just cracks me up!

We checked out houses and stuff for rent there, and its about the same as here where we live now (between $700 and $1200 for a 2-3 bedroom). It's expensive, but we'd be able to afford it. Plus, Las Vegas is always hiring. We must have seen 50 or 60 help wanted signs.

We'll see. LOL

That's funny! If you can't handle California summers, how will in LV?? Just stay in your house? lol
2-3 bedrooms around here go for about $2,000-2,500 to 3,000!

I'm from Las Vegas originally. We moved when I was 10 I think. My dad always says that if he could he'd move back there. He thinks it's a great place to live.

When you are talking about Arizona/Nevada heat and South/New England heat. There is a difference in life styles....Over here in New England when you tell someone that we used to live in 116-120 degree weather in Phoenix they almost faint, but what they dont realize is that it is a "dry" heat. Almost everyone has swimming pools, airconditioners, etc. Oh dont get me wrong, it does get hot but in a different sense.

Whereas back here you mention 116-120 and no one would leave their houses, air conditioners would break down, etc. Because of the humidity.

I loved living in Phoenix.

We are in a 2 bdrm for 400 per month and that is about the cheapest you can find around here. Most run around 550 per month 3 bdrm is around 650 and up.
