Congrats to the Winner Tony Stewart.. Who once again mustered the strength to climb the fense to snatch his checkered flag..(I'm always afraid he's going to fall!!)

If anyone had the opportunity to catch the race during it's broadcast.. They probably picked up on the fact that Direct Tv was the sponsor.. If you didn't know at the start of the race, I'm sure you knew by the end..
It's rumored that the word "Direct TV" was repeated almost 4,500 times in those hours.. Wow..

The Top five finished as:
Stewart
Gordon
Johnson
Earnhardt
Kyle Bush

The top 10 point standings are as follows:
1. +2 Jimmie Johnson Leader
2. +2 Mark Martin -59
3. -2 Matt Kenseth -60
4. -2 Kasey Kahne -101
5. -- Kyle Busch -101
6. -- Dale Earnhardt Jr. -109
7. -- Jeff Gordon -119
8. +1 Tony Stewart -142
9. +2 Elliott Sadler -198
10. -2 Casey Mears -209

Can't wait till next weekend!

So Martinsville still has it's short track? Fantastic!! There was so much talk about it being shut down before I left for Illinois. I'm glad it's still there, it brings a ton of money into the area. I got to go to a couple of free races and stay in the pit area (not sure if that's the exact term, but it was down there as close to the action as possible) while I was running rescue squad. It was so incredibly loud, but fun
