Do any of you have cruddy friends?
I swear I seem to only have 1 really good friend who has never let me down..
A quick rule I picked up for myself is to never work with friends ever again!
I was doing two friends a favor by signing on to do this job. I've been there a month and I've already been asked 3 times to pick up their shifts b/c they were either not feeling well or just didn't feel like working. I picked up 2 of the 3..
I asked the one today if she could pick up tonight for me I'm having some minor issues at home with a sick lil man on top of it and she said yeah probably... It's 7 I'm sapposto leave if I have to go in in 3 hours, I call her phone and she had her cell turned off.. Ok that's really nice.. Instead of just saying no you're going to do that?
I'm aggrivated today.. and I'm normally just happy go lucky but this really rubs me the wrong way..
Anyone else have cruddy friends?

That really stinks!!! I know I have had times when I've been really disappointed in my friends. It reminds me of an issue that one of my friends and I had that really stemmed from bad communication and being afraid of letting each other down or hurting the others feelings by being honest or asking tough questions. Once we talked it out though we discovered it was really just a mis-understanding more than anything. It would be nice if your friend could just be direct with you even if the answer is no. Although, ideally it would be best if they could return the favor sometimes. Very frustrating!!
