The baby has spent a significant amount of time with me compared to my husband because I've stayed home (maternity leave) and he goes to work.

The last two days, DH has been getting super frustrated and discouraged because baby screams in his face and pushes the bottle away when he tries to feed him. Last night, DH said "he hates me", referring to the baby not wanting the bottle from him and crying his little head off for half an hour. The baby even cries in his arms when they aren't trying to feed. *sigh*

So guys, have any of you been through something like this? What advice do you have to help baby and daddy bond? Is there anything I can do, or should I just stay out of the way??

I am haveing the same problem with my husband. he doesn't work but the baby still spends alot more time with me than him so she just has a fit when he tries. I have noticed that if we give her an ounce of pedialyte she will take it and that is enought to settle her down to where he can handle her. we then go ahead and give her the formula. Sometimes it doesn't work. She likes the pedialyte though. Wish it was as good for her as the formula but it has nop nutritional value really so we only give it to her when she has diareah and when she is super fussy.

Good luck!
