I'm a nurse but I work 3rd shift.. So it's only part-time. I can only work so many days in a row b/c I don't get to sleep during the day or get a nap in so I'm pretty much hot wired...
I was a single mum for my daughter so I started out working 3rd shift 12 hours with her but then it became too much so I had to go to dayshift and put her in daycare.. It really broke my heart and still does thinking that I missed out on so much.. Most of her 1sts were done at school.... I can't get that back.
That's why no matter what I will be working 3rds so I can take care of my son during the day.. All I miss now is him sleeping... Thats not missing much..LMBO

Being a SAHM is definitely work! I admire all those who do it! I just went back to working full time outside the home last week. It is like a break for me because being a SAHM is so much harder. I work for a large Internet company as a Planning Engineer.
