I really didn't use it as a child. My mom made me and now as an adult I never leave the house without it on my face. I will probably be like my mom and made my kids wear it. I use to have the skin that never burned but now I seem to burn.

I mix my DD's lotion with sunscreen so she wears it everyday in the Summer. She had a bump under her right eye and the doctors thought it was melanoma. Thank God it wasn't, but just the thought that she could have had it at such a young age terrified me. So now I'm a little too protective with both kids and lather them up before we step foot out the house, but I don't care! Better safe, than sorry.

I'm allergic to sunscren, I've tried many different kinds but I always get hives. I have SFP 15 in my moisturizer. I make sure Trey has sunblock on though.

I use it on myself if I know I will be outside for any extended period of time. I try to keep Ally in the shade when we are outside and put a hat on her but I will use sunscreen on her arms and legs if they are exposed and we are in the sun for more than a couple minutes.

Hi, never posted to this board before.
I use SPF 50 or higher everyday even if it is cloudy.
DS uses it and I make DH use it too.
I have a scar on my belly and one on my back to prove the importance of sunscreen. Not cancerous, but the cells that lead up to it (whatever that means).
Not really worth all the baking in the sun I did to look good in my teens and twenties.

I use it all of the time. I am so fair skinned and so is my daughter. If she steps outside and it's daylight, she has it on. My co-workers laugh at my white legs in the summer and tell me that I might as well be clear because they all go tanning. I always tell them ,"White is in, skin cancer isn't." That usually ######s them up.

I'm guilty of not using it on myself. probably because I dont burn. I use it on my 5 year old at the beach or when he will be in the sun awhile. I use it on my 13 month old always because he has sensitive skin.

We were out at the pool all day today and I put sunscreen on everyone but myself. I'm lucky I didn't get burned. It's days like today that I need it most, too!
