What are some of the things that people say to you about being a mother that irk you?

I hate it when people say things like.."So, do you work?" or "Don\'t you think 2 is enough?". That really gets on my nerves!!!

Yes!! I was a single mother with DD, so i had to work a lot and people would always make a comment about how much I worked. Now it's the total opposite. I guess we women can never win!

That seems to be so true! It's sad. That's why we have to support each other. I love JM for that reason!

I always hate how people tell me that I should have waited till marriage to have kids... Well sorry but I am not going to rush out and get married just because my biological clock started ticking alot earlier than most peoples. I want to wait for the right guy, that doesn't mean that I can't start my new family now thousands of people do it everyday... Sorry that is my rant...

I really hate when people imply that because I'm a single mommy at 20 I must be a ****. It makes me very mad! And people think that I can't possible take care of my son and get a job and go to school....

LOL, just wanted to add...Krys, my son's name is Ryan Alexander! LOL, very similar to yours! I saw that and just had to mention it

you're too young to have a child that old

i'm glad you're waiting until you get older to have more.

are you having more kids?

how many kids are you going to have?

the last two are just when they say it with an attitude.

Aren't you too young to have a kid? (I'm 22 but maybe I look younger?)

Are you going to get married soon?

But the worst ones are when we're somewhere and Chanel is crying because she's tired (usually), everyone starts trying to give me advice:

Oh, she's got gas!
She must be hungry!

etc.

Shut up! I know what's wrong with her!

lol, sorry

I am 22 also but I look 15. LOL sometimes I just feel like smacking people who tell me that I am too young to have a kid. It's like mind your own business already will ya.

Britney D: that is pretty cool... PM me if you want

Everyone always askes if we are going to have more. We are happy with our 1 boy and my dh is getting fixed. Everyone asks what if you want more (we are 100 % sure we only want one. My MIL even had the guts to ask me if god forbid something happened to Eric, wouldn't I want another one? geez...

People assuming im a ##### because I had a baby at 16

Saying im not really a mother because I am starting college and starting a job so will not really see my son a whole lot

People asking where my sons dad is

People assume since I had a baby so young I must be some kind of trash and on welfare

Oh I really loved when I was pregnant and people asked if I new who the dad was

People always saying "ohh she has a tummy ache" when she's crying because she's hungry (and they refuse to give her to me when I ask so I have to literally take her from them) ...
When people sit there and examine her every feature trying to figure out who she looks like - I don't know why but that really aggravates me.
