I was wondering is it ever easy?
I'm a live in nanny and I work with 4 children and I'm currently 9 weeks pregnant and also have 2 of my own. My employer thinks its easy to watch 6 kids at once but I'm not to complain it is but as a pregnant woman I'm feeling kinda stressed out a bit since I feel I should be resting after all I am pregnant. I will admit I started slacking a bit but know this...
She doesn't work and when she isn't here she's usually with her boyfriend and they'll leave out at 9:30 a.m and sometimes won't be back til after midnight
Now I will still clean and do my part, but when she's actually home I feel I'm the doing all the work. Cooking, cleaning, putting the kids in time out when needed.
I explained to my employer that she needs to understand my feelings as well but she doesn't see it my way and says to me I'm the one who gave you a job and rubs it in that she took me in when I had no where to go. At times I give her my some of snap benefits so I can help her and now she learned I get a bit of money on the side she feels I should give her $100 since she's giving me housing and food.
I'm at a loss at what to do right now and in the meantime my option would be a shelter and I already have a new job but if I was to do the shelter I would be too far from my job and without a car its impossible to get around.
Proud mama of 2 girls and 5 angels.
