How about the time I learned I couldn't use any dye with the word "Ash" in it or it turned my hair green?
Or perhaps the time I learned that you really can't be a plat. blond by using the over the counter dyes when you're hair is dark blond/light brown?
When I dyed my hair auburn and it came out looking purple and everyone called me barney?
Or when I was 8 and I shaved my bangs off...
Or the perm job that went awall?

The worst story I have is when I wanted to have my hair trimmed, but when to the wrong hair place! I walked in with hair to my waist (long, beautiful curly hair) and walked out with it literally chopped off. All I wanted was long layers, but he went nuts or something and it was in a V-cut, but it barely touched my shoulders. I was so mad, I stormed out of the screaming with huge hunks of my hair in my hand and the smock still on. The guy had cut my hair a dozen times, so he knew what I wanted, but for some reason he lost his mind and cut it all off. I didn't notice until it was too late. As soon as I realized what he was doing, I jumped up screaming and ran to my mother's office crying. I'll never forget that day.
Mine isn't too bad, but I went to a place that I had been before and loved. I had decided I wanted something new, so I took a pic (if you have ever watched TLC's While You Were Away---Chase Dakota) and asked if they could do that. Well, she started and it was just weird--she didn't speak to me (usually stylists are very friendly), her hands were shaking, another stylist came over and sat and watched and I quickly realized that this was her first real haircut She finally asked the other stylist to help her with the front and when she started helping, she found so many mistakes, so I got nothing like I had wanted and wasn't pleased. Luckily, I don't really care that much about my hair and I just worked with it, but I will only change my style with someone I know and trust!
When I was 5, I shaved a HUGE chunk out of the front of my head right before pictures for kindergarten. My mom had to hurry me to a friend of hers to "fix" my hair, which was cutting almost halfway back on my head to make bangs to cover the bald spot.
Thank you KimberlyD0 for my absolutely beautiful siggy!
