How do you handle neighborhood disputes? Angry mothers, bad kids, just all around bad neighbors?

I know it's sad but we don't really mingle with our neighbors...lol

We do have an older lady next door that likes to yell at us from time to time about whatever just because she likes to yell.. And we usually just kill her with kindness...LOL

We just try to do our own thing and find our own solutions if possible. For example, if people are making a lot of noise outside when we are trying to sleep we try using a fan to block it out. We try not to get into confrontations as much as possible. So far it has worked fine. If someone tells us the don't really like something we try to accomodate them as well so that it doesn't become a big issue.

We don't really talk to any of our neighbors. The lady next door is really nice & she's the one I know the best and that's not very well at all! I'm sure once Victoria gets older and starts making friends then I'll know more neighbors (although by then we'll be living in a different house)

I don't really talk to my neighbors either. I have been introduced to them, but that's it. We all do a friendly wave when we drive by each other's houses, but that's about it
