For those of us who live in America Thanksgiving is just around the corner. How do you usually spend your Thanksgiving? Do you cook? If so, how do you keep your cool and not freak out about so much to do? What are your plans for this year?

Well, we usually go to my moms, but everyone is going to be out of town this year...This will be my first year for Thanksgiving without my family, so I'm not sure what we'll do...The DH said something about maybe frying a turkey...so I guess this will be our first year to cook Thanksgiving Dinner ourselves

We'll be going to my sister's house this year. Every other year DH and I like to go out with DD to a place called The White Horse Inn. It's not that we don't love my sister, it's just that it's so nice to go to a quiet, calm dinner with just us. My sister has 5 kids and her house is always so chaotic! This year should be interesting!

I always make Thanksgiving Dinner. It is always crazy around here on the Holidays because we need to figure out when my step kids will be here and with their Mom and when my older two will be with their Dad. My youngest boys don't see their Dad much at all so we really don't have to worry about working around his schedule. My husband is more like their Dad than he is, but that is a whole nother story LOL.
I love making big meals, although the house we have been in since last November has a very tiny counter so it makes it a little difficult, but I still enjoy it.
I always make way too much food. I like the Holiday meals to always to a special feast with all the dishes that go along with the Holidays.
