When your children were babies, did you sit in the back with them?

I still sit in the back with Lex, but only until we get a forward facing carseat. Hopefully we\'ll be getting one soon. He hates not being able to sit up and look around.

The only time I did was if they were fussy. My kids are the kinda kids that are asleep within a few mins of being in the car, lol.

I didn't have to with the boys. But with Trinity she would cry if I sat it the front. So I started to sit back there with her. And I now just do it out of habit

I did at first when my DH drove, but I'm always by myself now that I'm a SAHM and go everywhere during the day while the DH is at work. I have gotten really good at reaching behind and stinking the paci in his mouth...but he does good anyways unless he's tired and then all I have to do is let him hold my hand for a few min. while i'm driving and he's out....

I have a mirror up so he can see himself and not just looking into space...he loves riding in the car!
