I took Kody to the eye doctor today for his yearly appointment. They tested his eyes and he gets his new glasses in a few weeks. I'm glad its time for new ones cause the ones he is wearing are broken.
They took a lot longer testing him this time so I knew something was up.

Turns out both his eyes dont work together all the time. They gave me some long name for it but I forget. I know when he was younger one eye would drift off when he was tired. But since he got glasses I havent noticed it happen and assumed the glasses corrected it.

Well, he still has it. Now I have to take him to an eye specialist in another town next month. It sounds like he might need surgery. Neither of my boys have ever had surgery. I hate the thought of them cutting on my little boys eye.

Anyway, I hope there is another alternative. This makes me nervous.

If he does need surgery everything will be just fine Joshua just had surgery 2 weeks ago today for that his eyes where crossing in they got so bad right before the surgery he couldn't walk straght. The surgery only took about half an hour but every thing is fine 1 out of every four kids have this problem.

Eye surgery for a child is defiantly not uncommon. I’m sure everything will turn out okay Happy thoughts
